This piece is a classic jadeite donut, known as a Ping An Kou or “peace amulet” in Chinese tradition. Carved from natural Burmese Type A jadeite of glutinous-ice texture, it measures approx. 24mm in diameter and 5mm thick. Smoothly polished with a soft, luminous glow, it reflects the essence of quiet elegance.
The circle-within-a-circle form symbolizes wholeness, harmony, and protection. In Chinese philosophy, the central hole allows qi (life force) to circulate—offering the wearer spiritual balance and calm assurance through life’s movements.
This version comes strung on a red woven cord, representing protection, vitality, and warding off harm. A black cord option is also available for a minimalist, gender-neutral look—suitable for gifting, everyday wear, or spiritual grounding.
